Sina Games, 7/28/17
Chinese internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360's gaming division recently announced a new "5A Starlight Partnership Program," which will explore ways of helping game producers and developers to create high-quality video game products.
The "five A's" indicated by the program's title reflect five objectives for the program's support:
All Platforms: The program will provide developers with all-platform services to help developers utilize their IP across mobile, web, and app platforms. Support includes access to game simulators and Qihoo 360's game cloud platform resources.
All Regions: The program will help domestic game developers to reach international markets, and will also help introduce international game products to China.
All Data: By comprehensively analyzing data from hundreds of millions of users across Qihoo's 360 Mobile Safe, 360 Mobile Assistant, Mobile Browser, and 360 Search products, the program will offer developers trend analysis and guidance.
All Stars: The program will invest RMB 600 mln to create a special fund to support high quality game development. Qihoo 360's gaming business will provide platform, IP, resource, funding, data, and internationalization support.
All Partners: The program will cultivate deep partnerships with developers to create a win-win ecosystem.
