Microsoft Office 2013 Available for Chinese Enterprises

US software company Microsoft announced at the TechEd 2012 Microsoft technology conference yesterday that the company's Office 2013 software product is now available for purchase by Chinese enterprise clients.
According to Microsoft, Office 2013 will be made available for non-enterprise clients during the first quarter of 2013 through various retail outlets.
The complete suite of Office products, including Office 2013, Exchange Server 2013, Lync Server 2013, SharePoint Server 2013, Project 2013, and Visio 2013 are now available to enterprise clients in the China market. Bank of China, Lenovo (0992.HK), and China National Petroleum Company (CNPC) are among the first batch Chinese companies to upgrade to the new suite of Office products.
Ralph Haupter, Microsoft's Greater China CEO, also revealed at the conference that sales of Microsoft's Surface tablet have met the company's expectations. Haupter declined to comment on the exact sales figures for Surface.
