eBay, Xiu.com Launch eBay Style Platform

eBay and Chinese fashion B2C e-commerce site Xiu.com today launched the eBay Style channel (ebay.xiu.com), which allows Xiu.com users to search, browse, and purchase all products and brands available on the eBay platform.
eBay Style offers over 5,000 brands, according to eBay, including apparel, bags, shoes, and jewelry, sourced from eBay's "most trusted merchants."
"More and more Chinese consumers are shopping on eBay," said eBay VP Chen Xiaofeng. "Sales volume from Chinese customers on eBay's English-language site are up 40% YoY."
In addition to supporting the eBay Style platform, Xiu.com can also select products from eBay that meet Chinese consumer needs and offer them to users through localized channels. Xiu.com will also handle local returns and provide Chinese-language customer service.
Tablet and mobile applications for eBay Style will also soon be released.
