Sina Launches Personal Cloud Storage Product

An industry source has revealed that Chinese internet company Sina's (Nasdaq: SINA) Weibo microblogging platform recently launched a cloud storage product, VDisk (vdisk.me), which will serve as Sina's flagship cloud storage service. Relying on the existing user base of Sina Weibo's open app platform, VDisk has attracted a substantial number of users in a short period of time. Currently, VDisk functions remain relatively basic, only supporting file uploads of less than 10MB.
