Ex-Google Technology Director Joins MediaV as CTO

Shanghai-based online advertising firm MediaV has stated that Ms. Hu Ning, former director of technology at Google, has joined MediaV as CTO.

Hu joined Google in 2005, and has since worked in Google's New York, Silicon Valley and Beijing branches, in the roles of engineer, senior engineer, head engineer and director of technology. In 2005, she became head of technology for mobile search quality, and took charge of the release of mobile search products for several operators, including China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK), Europe's Vodafone and Japan's NTT DoCoMo and KDDI. In 2007, she was dispatched to China's leading music product research and development project, which in March 2009 released Google Music. In 2010, Hu was responsible for the development of Google's Android mobile phone service.
