Novel-Super Digital TV Wins CMMB Electronic Service Guide Bid

On October 21, the China Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) selected China Digital TV Holding (NYSE: STV) subsidiary Novel-Super Digital TV Technology as the digital broadcasting system and electronic service guide (ESG) provider for CBC's CMMB network, providing system software and services for more than 300 cities in 31 provinces. Novel-Super's ESG and data broadcasting system has already gone into operation in Beijing.

Novel-Super's ESG is used in the broadcast and mobile multimedia industries for the production, approval, packaging, and broadcast of service information, making program location, name, broadcast time, and content summary information available to mobile multimedia viewers.
