CDC Games Launches Integrated Game Platform
Sina Tech, 6/04/09
Online gaming company CDC Games, a subsidiary of CDC Corporation (Nasdaq: CHINA), officially launched its new gaming platform under a new domain name, www.cdcgames.net, bringing three major game brands under the CDC Games umbrella.
CDC Games has fully integrated the user account systems for the products of its online game subsidiaries Beijing 17Game and Optic Communications. Starting at the beginning of 2008, the integration process included the release of a comprehensive CDC Games game card, standardizing the customer service system and implementing a community-wide platform, as well as launching the CDC virtual currency payment system. Registered users for the 3D MMORPG Yulgang, first person shooter Special Force, 3D MMORPG Shaiya or 2.5D MMORPG Lunia can now play any of these games on the unified platform.
Editor's Note: The new virtual currency system integrates Optics Communications game products, which previously used another system. See CDC Games FAQ (Chinese).
