Hupo.tv, Baidu Form Strategic Partnership

Chinese online video site Hupo.tv has announced a strategic partnership with Chinese search engine Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU). Baidu will use its search platform to promote Hupo.tv's interactive entertainment content to a broader audience, and Hupo.tv will provide exclusive interviews and videos to expand Baidu's influence in the entertainment industry. The deal marks the transition of Hupo.tv from an online video site to a general entertainment website.
