Shanda Increases Employee Remuneration

Online game developer and operator Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) has confirmed adjustments to its 2008 benefits and compensation plan which had previously been announced internally. These adjustments include changes to salary, bonuses, allowances, social insurance payouts and other company benefits. In salary alone, the company is adjusting the average employee wage upwards by 20 percent, and increasing average compensation for core employees by more than 40 percent.
