China Resources to Restructure Semiconductor Business

Yesterday, China Resources Logic and CSMC jointly announced that they were considering restructuring the 2 companies' semiconductor business, and if the merger was successful, they would operate as a single listed company. The announcement also mentioned that the terms of the restructuring had not yet been set. This planned consolidation of the 2 companies' semiconductor businesses would pave the way for the creation of a domestic giant in the semiconductor industry.
