National Business Daily, 11/06/07

Aofei Technology, a Shenzhen based distributor for Intel, was recently taken to court by a customer for selling a product without a Chinese instruction manual.

On May 9 of this year, Mr. Zhu bought an Intel CPU from Aofei Technology, planning to put together his own PC. After searching through the instruction manual he found that there were no Chinese installation instructions, only several illustrations, and in the end, Mr. Zhu was unable to successfully install the CPU.

On October 25, Shenzhen City, Futian District People's Court ordered the distributor to refund the RMB 285 cost of the product, but refused Mr. Zhu's other requests. Mr. Zhu, said that he would appeal.
