As of October 22, one million households had been converted to DTV in Tianjin, representing early completion of the target for 2007. The conversion process started on July 1, has been completed in the Binhai area, and the majority of work has been finished in the six regions of the city proper. On completion 1.2 million households will have been switched to digital.
