Chinese B2C e-commerce platform JD.com's (Nasdaq: JD) fresh food channel JD Fresh recently announced that it is testing one-hour delivery service in Beijing. The service currently covers most areas within Beijing's fifth ring road. Consumers can access the service by logging in to the JD.com app and searching for "JD one-hour delivery" or by visiting the platform's homepage.
One-hour delivery service is available for agricultural products that require refrigeration such as meat and poultry products and seafood items, as well as oils and seasonings, alcoholic beverages and snacks, and some beauty and makeup products.
