Mobile Trucking Logistics Services Huochebang, Yunmanman to Merge

Guiyang-based Huochebang Technology, operator of online and mobile logistics service platform Huochebang (Truck Alliance), recently announced that it will merge with Shanghai-based Subtle Information Consulting, developer of mobile logistics services app Yunmanman, to form a new group company.
Well-known angel investor Wang Gang will serve as chairman and CEO of the new company, and Luo Peng, CEO of Huochebang, and Zhang Hui, CEO of Yunmanman, will serve as co-CEOs. The Huochebang and Yunmanman brands will continue to operate independently and will seek opportunities for business synergies and strategic integration.
Wang said that the new company will focus on creating and operating transaction platforms, and will also explore opportunities in the new energy, unmanned vehicle, and sea transport domains.
Wang is an angel investor in Yunmanman and previously served as a senior executive at Chinese e-commerce conglomerate Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA) and third-party payment processor Alipay.
