Ctrip's Dining Brand Adds Overseas Restaurant Reservation Feature

Chinese online travel services provider Ctrip's (Nasdaq: CTRP) independent dining brand "Ctrip Gourmet List" has added online table reservation and set meal ordering features for the hundreds of overseas restaurants on its platform.
The online booking features will provide overseas travelers with Chinese language booking information. After a user submits a reservation, Ctrip Gourmet List will complete the reservation for the user with the overseas restaurant.
In addition, depending on the setting, Ctrip Gourmet List offers users a "traveling" version or a "hometown" version, which will recommend different types of restaurants.
Ctrip Gourmet List has learned through big data analysis that travelers tend to choose restaurants that are representative of the local flavor and enjoy the most popularity, and as such has decided to offer the "traveling" version of its service. The "hometown" version is for users who are living more permanently in one place, and who tend to seek out restaurants near frequently visited shopping districts or places more suitable for gatherings of family and friends.
Ctrip Gourmet List, launched in December 2016 as a channel within the Ctrip app, provides users with information and reservation services for restaurants in China and overseas.
