Voice Recognition Firm Unisound Completes RMB 300 Mln Funding

Beijing-based voice recognition technology provider Yunzhisheng Information Technology ("Unisound") recently announced completion of RMB 300 mln in strategic funding from undisclosed investors.
Unisound in June this year released its cloud-based voice assistant Pandora, which integrates remote voice recognition, semantic analysis, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Unisound's technology is used by companies looking to integrate voice recognition functionality into their products.
In addition, Unisound has developed a "Yunduanxin" (Cloud Terminal Chip) ecosystem to offer cross-hardware and cross-application solutions for smart home, vehicle, robot, medicine, and education scenarios.
Huang Wei, CEO of Unisound, said that funding will be used to develop artificial intelligence-based Internet of Things technologies and AI chips under the company's UniOne brand.
Unisound currently has more than 20,000 partners, and its technologies are used by more than 200 mln users.
