Online Event Management Firm Eventown Completes Series B+

Beijing-based Eventown Century Technology, operator of event search and management website Eventown.com.cn, recently announced the completion of Series B+ funding. Eventown CEO Tang Liang revealed that the round was led by DFJ Dragon Fund China, but did not disclose the amount.
The funding will be used to release more channels focused on conferences, increase enterprise client development and expansion, improve service standards, and grow the quality and quantity of resources.
Eventown is an online conference resource aggregation platform, providing search, reservation, and marketing of event spaces. The company currently has 550,000 conference locations listed covering more than 2,000 counties and cities in China. Eventown added 500,000 enterprise users in 2016 and has 18,000 monthly active users.
