Beijing-based television value-added service provider Kuyun Interactive Technology has announced a partnership with Chinese microblogging platform Weibo (Nasdaq: WB) to release a social, interactive, and real-time video program evaluation system called "Weibo Shishi Bang." The system will provide users and industry insiders with a multi-platform and multi-dimensional program popularity and influence evaluation system based on comprehensive indicators.
Weibo Shishi Bang will comprehensively score programs based on indicators such as topic reading quantity, official Weibo interaction quantity, Weibo search quantity, and Kuyun follower score (for TV programs) or video playback quantity (for online programs). The system will cover four major program categories including TV variety shows, TV series, online variety shows, and online self-produced series, and will display overall scores and rankings for each program. Score and rankings will be updated every ten minutes.
Kuyun Interactive Technology was established in 2013 and uses artificial intelligence and big data technologies to provide big data services for customers such as television stations, film and TV content producers, and advertisers.
