Lenovo to Restructure China Operations

Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Lenovo's (0992.HK) Chinese operations will be reorganized into a personal computer and smart device group (PCSD) and a data center group (DCG) effective immediately, according to an announcement from Lenovo Chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing in a microblog post.
Liu Jun, who previously worked for Lenovo's Mobile Business Group, has returned to the company as Lenovo Group Executive Vice President and President of Lenovo China to lead the Chinese platform and PCSD business in China. Tong Fuyao will oversee the DCG business centers as Lenovo Group Senior Vice President and President of Lenovo China, and will be responsible for point-to-point connections and Lenovo's large-scale global data centers.
Lenovo Group Senior Vice President Cheng Xudong, who is head of Lenovo Global Services, will step down at the end of the month due to personal and family considerations, said Yang in an email to employees.
