Oriental Pearl, Qihoo 360 Partner on Mobile Internet Business

Shanghai-based media firm Oriental Pearl Media (600637.SH) has announced the formation of a strategic partnership with Chinese internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) to develop a joint brand, BesTV 360, that focuses on mobile internet. The partnership has a goal of reaching 30 mln daily active users of mobile internet video within the three-year terms of agreement.

The partnership includes the fields of online media entertainment, gaming, advertising, and e-commerce and will be based on Oriental Pearl Media's copyright resources, content operation, video license, and Internet TV integrated control and broadcast platform, as well as Qihoo 360's internet traffic, video platform infrastructure, and experience developing and operating internet products.
