China's Jan-Oct 2015 Online Retail GMV Up 43% YoY

China's gross merchandise volume (GMV) of online retail products and services reached RMB 2.948 trln for the ten months ended October 31, up 43.1% YoY, according to newly released figures from China's National Bureau of Statistics.
Of this figure, online consumer goods comprised RMB 2.445 trln, up 33.0% YoY, and accounting for 10% of overall consumer goods retail sales.
Online consumer services, which also includes intangible products such as digital downloads, apps, online newspapers, and other services, accounted for RMB 503.0 bln, up 43.1% YoY.
