Tencent App Store's Daily Downloads Reach 100 Mln

Daily app downloads through Chinese internet and mobile services firm Tencent's (0700.HK) Myapp app store platform have surpassed 100 mln, according to the company. Tencent announced in July that its daily app downloads stood at only 76 mln, implying that Tencent's daily app download rate has grown by nearly 25 mln in the three-month period.

The 100 mln app download figure includes downloads from Tencent's mobile messaging apps Mobile QQ and WeChat, as well as apps downloaded directly from the Myapp store.
