Netease Tech, 7/01/14
Yidong Facishare Technology, developer of mobile enterprise collaboration software FXiaoke, has announced the completion of USD 8-digit second-found financing led by Northern Light Venture Capital, with participation by IDG Capital Partners. The funds will principally be used for product development and expansion into new markets. FXiaoke previously obtained first-round financing from IDG in July 2012.
FXiaoke was released at the end of 2011 and allows employers to manage company employees through an SNS-style PC client and mobile app, and proves a handful of customer service features. According to Luo Xu, CEO for FXiaoke, as June 30, 2014, the company's enterprise customers have reached 50,000, of which 700 pay for premium services. Over 90% of FXiaoke users access the product through mobile devices.
Li Quanke, COO for FXiaoke, has noted that the company will not directly complete with rumored enterprise-facing accounts under development for Tencent's (0700.HK) WeChat mobile messaging app, stating that FXiaoke services will likely integrate with WeChat.
