China's National Cable TV Operator Completes Company Registration

China Radio and Television Network (CRTN), China's planned national cable TV operator, has completed registration as a company in China, according to the website of China's State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC).
According to the registration documents, CRTN was established on April 17 as a state-owned limited liability company with Zhao Jingchun as its legal representative. The company's scope of business includes cable TV network planning, construction, operation, and maintenance, as well as all technology research and development necessary to engage in cable TV-related activities.
La Peikang, Shen Xiangjun, Wang Wenbin, and Xue Jijun have been listed as directors of the company, Liang Xiaotao has been appointed as director and General Manager, and Zhao Jingchun will serve as chairman of the board.
