Details of Investors in 'Super Curriculum' Series A Revealed

Xu Xiaoping, founder of angel investment fund ZhenFund, recently revealed via his personal microblogging account, details of first-round funding secured earlier by Guangzhou Zhoumo Network Technology, developer of school curriculum-based SNS app "Super Curriculum" ("Chaoji Kechengbiao"). The funding, led by Sequoia Capital and with participation from Ceyuan Ventures and ZhenFund, comprises a RMB 8-digit first-round in June this year, followed by a RMB 7-digit series A+ round from ZhenFund in August. Zhou Hongyi, CEO of Chinese internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU), provided early angel funding for the company, according to an industry source.
Super Curriculum, which was launched in August 2012, currently has more than 6 mln users.
