Ex-Shanda Games CEO Founds Browser Gaming Company

Boxuu.com, 10/23/13

Qingsong Fund, a Shanghai-based investment fund focused on angel and early-stage investment, has announced that Alan Tan, former Chairman and CEO of Shanghai-based online game developer and operator Shanda Games (Nasdaq: GAME), received RMB 8-digit funding from Qingsong Fund several months ago to establish Jincan Network Technology, a Shanghai-based HTML5 browser game publishing, payment, and marketing solutions provider. Tan will serve as CEO of the company.

Jincan will provide services to HTML5 browser game developers through its "UZwan" platform. UZwan has entered the beta testing phase, and early testing has shown a relatively high paid user conversion rate on the platform.
