Rumor: Xiaomi to Release 47'' Smart TV in August

A Sina Weibo microblog user recently posted news that Beijing-based Android handset developer Xiaomi will announce a 47" smart TV this August, and leaked photos of the smart TV's packaging.

According to the information displayed on the packaging, Xiaomi's smart TV may feature a 1080p full HD display, powerful audio processing functionality, and support Wi-Fi connectivity. It remains unclear whether the rumored 47" smart TV is the only TV that Xiaomi will release.
