China's April 2013 Cable DTV User Base Reaches 146 Mln

China's digital cable TV user base reached approximately 146.20 mln as of the end of April 2013, signifying a 68.12% conversion to digital cable of China's 214.59 mln cable subscriber households, according to the State Administration of Press and Publication, Radio, Film, and Television (SAPPRFT).
Nineteen provinces and provincial-level municipalities have digital cable conversion ratios that are higher than the national average, including the provinces of Ningxia, Qinghai, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
