Qihoo 360 Introduces Medical Appointment Platform

In a statement this afternoon, Chinese Internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360's (NYSE: QIHU) search engine So.com announced that its healthcare and medicine vertical search engine (ly.so.com) has begun indexing information from the Beijing municipal government's unified appointment-booking platform (http://www.bjguahao.gov.cn). Internet users around China — including in Beijing — can use the platform to search for hospitals and book appointments. Nearly 10,000 internet users per day use the platform to book appointments at present.
