The9 to Stop Operation of Soul of the Ultimate Nation

Chinese online game developer and operator The9 (Nasdaq: NCTY) has announced that it will stop operating its licensed 3D MMORPG Soul of the Ultimate Nation (SUN). The9 will stop activating new user accounts and offering recharge of existing game accounts (for use in purchase of in-game virtual items) on May 8. The games' servers will be shut down on June 30.
