Sina Microblog Android Version Supports WeChat Sharing

A new version of the Sina (Nasdaq: SINA) Weibo microblogging client for Android released today added support for sharing items from users' Weibo timelines to friends and friend groups using Tencent's (0700.HK) WeChat (Weixin) mobile messaging application. A spokesperson for Sina Weibo said that the platform would add support for sharing Weibo content to other clients in the future. A corresponding iOS version of the client is undergoing iTunes App Store review and should be released in the near future.
