Update: AliCloud, Mogo Partner on Mobile Advertising
DoNews, 12/28/12
Hangzhou-based e-commerce company Alibaba Group's cloud computing subsidiary, Alibaba Cloud Computing ("AliCloud"), today announced a strategic partnership with Chinese mobile advertising optimization platform Mogo (adsmogo.com), unveiling a cloud-based turnkey solution providing app development, distribution, operations, marketing, and revenue generation support services for app developers.
AliCloud will provide its open storage services (OSS) API and multilingual SDKs, and will release an active cloud engine (ACE) available in multiple languages next year.
During the distribution and operations stage, AliCloud will initially provide five cloud services for free - cloud servers, server load balancing (SLB), relational database services (RDS), cloud security and cloud-based controls - and will continue to add other cloud services.
For marketing and revenue creation, Mogo will provide mobile advertising SDKs for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone devices, enabling mobile app developers to raise additional revenue. Alibaba Group's third-party web analytics subsidiary CNZZ will provide mobile app data analytics services.
Chen Jinpei, GM of AliCloud, said a number of websites, mobile applications, and games are already deployed on AliCloud's platform, which supports over 100 mln daily direct and indirect visitors.
