Jiayuan Appoints Non-executive Co-chair

Beijing-based online matchmaking site operator Jiayuan.com (Nasdaq: DATE) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Rose Gong (Gong Haiyan) as a non-Executive co-Chairwoman of the company, alongside Jiayuan's existing Chairman Qian Yongqiang, effective December 24, 2012. As of that date, Gong will step down from her position as co-CEO of Jiayuan.
The company also announced that Wu Linguang, who currently serves as co-CEO of Jiayuan, has been appointed as a Director of the Board, effective immediately.
