Amazon China Responds to GAPP Allegations about Kindle Store

In response to allegations by China's General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) that its new mainland China Kindle Store violates operations licensing regulations, Amazon China has stated that it strictly adheres to local laws but cannot comment on legal questions at this time. To date, the controversy has not affected operations of Amazon China's Kindle Store.
