360Buy Redesigns Book Channel

Beijing-based B2C e-commerce platform 360Buy recently overhauled its books channel, and disclosed that since its launch two years ago, the cumulative number of users that have made purchases on the channel has exceeded 10 mln, with over 1.4 mln titles available.

The revamped channel expands the number of recommended titles from over 100 to more than 200, and adds group buy functionality to the landing page with daily deals and a "product category sales event section," informing readers about various promotional deals on the channel. The new version also expands the number of titles in the "Discount Reads" section and increases discounts from 20% to 50% off.

The new landing page features clearer, more detailed book categories in the left-hand column, and 360Buy's book channel will also launch a "special library" section that recommends titles based on 360Buy users' purchasing history.
