Qihoo 360 Security Software See Enterprise Users Reach 420K

Chinese online security software developer Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) announced version 4.0 of the enterprise edition of its 360 Anti-Virus software today. As of December 2012, there are approximately 420,000 enterprises using 360 Anti-Virus on more than 10 mln terminals.

Qihoo 360 VP Tan Xiaosheng said that more than 90% of enterprises currently use the free version of the company's ant-ivirus software, and the personal edition of 360 Anti-Virus covers some 80% of companies. There are 442 mln monthly active users of Qihoo 360 products and services, and the company's products have 95% penetration. The enterprise edition of 360 Anti-Virus is used in a number of fields, including energy, finance, manufacturing, education, medicine, services, and IT.

Version 4.0 of Qihoo 360 Anti-Virus adds whitelisting technology, improving compatibility with companies' intranet applications through a combination of intelligent automatic configurations and custom solutions.
