Yihaodian's 1Mall Doubles Guarantee Fees for 2013

Online merchants reported today that 1Mall, the open platform of Chinese B2C e-commerce site Yihaodian, recently published a "renewal notice" to merchants on the site stating that the platform guarantee fee plan costs would double from the current RMB 5,000 and RMB 10,000 plans to RMB 10,000 and RMB 20,000. The conditions for contract renewals state that renewal applications will be accepted from December 1 to December 31, 2012, and that merchants who have not applied to renew their accounts by December 31 will have their storefronts frozen and will be required to pay an additional fee for reactivation upon contract renewal.
