Suning.com Launches Beverage Channel

Chinese consumer electronics and home appliances retailer Suning's (002024.SZ) online B2C site Suning.com recently launched a new channel dedicated to food, beverages, and health products. Product offerings in the channel currently include alcoholic beverages, snack foods, staple grains and cooking oil, cookies and cakes, health foods, seasonings, imported foods, regional specialties, and instant foods.
Suning.com executive VP Li Bin said that as the most frequently repurchased items in e-commerce, foods and beverages could potentially bring in new Suning.com customers, and improve customer experience and customer stickiness for the site's existing users.
