Pactera Q3 2012 Profit Up 7% YoY

Chinese IT service provider and software outsourcing firm Pactera (Nasdaq: PACT), a company recently formed from merger of VanceInfo Technologies and HiSoft, has announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2012. Q3 2012 net revenues were USD 79.6 mln, an increase of 35.2% YoY from USD 58.9 mln for the corresponding period in 2011.
Net income for the quarter was USD 4.84 mln, up 7.3% YoY from USD 4.51 mln a year before.
Net revenues from IT services were USD 46.2 mln for the third quarter of 2012, an increase of 35.7% YoY. CPS services grew 47.0% YoY from 2011 as a result of expanded solution offerings and an expanded client portfolio.
Net revenues from R&D services were USD 33.3 mln for the third quarter of 2012, an increase of 34.4% YoY from USD 24.8 mln for the corresponding period in 2011.
Greater China accounted for 42.7% of net revenues in the third quarter of 2012, while the United States accounted for 19.8%, Japan accounted for 19.1%, Asia South accounted for 16.3% and Europe accounted for 2.1%.
The company expects Q4 2012 net revenues to be at least USD 136 mln.
