Qihoo 360 Group Buy Navigation Conversion Rate Reaches 5%

A spokesperson for Chinese internet company Qihoo 360's (NYSE: QIHU) group buy directory site revealed today that the site's November 11 "Heat Plan," which dovetailed with internet-wide "Singles' Day" sales, generated order and sales volumes that met the company's expectations. Conversion rates reached 5%, exceeding Qihoo 360's expectations.

Qihoo 360 began experimenting with marketing services for group buy deals on given products this year. Based on the customer demographics of this year's Singles' Day sales, Qihoo 360 partnered with several group buy sites to promote deals on seasonal items including snow boots and long underwear.
