Chinese B2C e-commerce site Dangdang (NYSE: DANG) and third-party payment platform provider 99Bill recently partnered on mobile quick payment services. The mobile quick-payment solution is aimed at non-PC users who are unable to pay for online purchases, and enables them to make payments by entering their bank card numbers and billing information, with no need to log into their banks' online banking interface. In addition to enabling quick, easy payments, 99Bill's payment solution will also help Dangdang coordinate its cash and data streams and implement electronic account statements, boosting enterprise finance management efficiency.
A number of other domestic e-commerce companies, including 360Buy, Tencent's (0700.HK) 51buy, Chinese home electronics and appliance retailer Gome's (0493.HK) B2C platform Coo8, and B2C clothing website Vancl, have partnered with 99Bill to date, giving the company more than 90% penetration in the independent B2C e-commerce market.
