CNZZ: Sogou Share of October Browser UVs Reaches 9.4%

Microsoft's Internet Explorer, Chinese Internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU), and Internet firm Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU) subsidiary Sogou took the three largest shares of China's October 2012 browser market by page views (PV) and unique visitors (UV), respectively, according to Alibaba Group's third-party web analytics subsidiary CNZZ. IE saw its October PV and UV market share drop slightly from its September totals - in September IE had PV and UV market share of 52.7% and 50.4%, respectively. Qihoo 360's market share remained relatively stable compared to its September PV and UV totals of 26.5% and 27.5%, respectively. Sogou saw an increase in PV and UV market share over its September totals of 7.7% and 9.0%, respectively.
