Netease, CNR Partner on Paid Audio Book Mobile App

Netease (Nasdaq: NTES) and China National Radio's online and mobile audio content provider CNR Voice Culture Media released a mobile children's audiobook application, "Baobei Ting Tonghua" ("Audiobooks for Baby") (http://m.163.com/baby/) in the iTunes App Store today. The new app is Netease's first paid application. During the first week of operation, the app will be available at a 50% discount of RMB 6, and will sell for RMB 12 from October 18 onwards.
Audiobooks for Baby offers nearly 400 high-quality Chinese and international children's stories recorded by professional CNR voice artists. The children's reader also offers offline playback for parents concerned about the effects of radiation from mobile handsets.
A subsidiary of CNR, CNR Voice Culture Media is a licensed operator of audio content services, integrating operations for CNR station programming over the internet and on phones and other mobile terminals.
