TMall Expects 2012 Apparel Sales to Exceed RMB 60 Bln

Alibaba Group's B2C e-commerce site TMall announced today that it predicts its clothing and accessories sales for 2012 will exceed RMB 60 bln. TMall also announced that Nike will officially open a flagship store on the platform. Athletic products currently account for around 30% of TMall's clothing and accessory sales.
After Nike opens up a shop on TMall, it will reportedly develop exclusive and limited-edition lines of athletic shoes and clothing for TMall.
