Baijob CEO Resigns
Netease Tech, 4/25/12
Chinese internet company Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) online recruiting platform Baijob told Tencent Tech today that Li Zhenwen had resigned as CEO in January 2012 for personal reasons. Han Xiaoming, a member of the company's management team, has been appointed president of Baijob, in which capacity he will assume Li Zhenwen's responsibilities for the overall operations of the company. Baijob currently has no CEO.
Previously, Baijob had said that it would promote an online recruiting model in which payment was based on ad results. The site has now eliminated most of the advertising slots on its homepage, retaining only five display ad slots. Former CEO Li Zhenwen previously revealed that parent company Baidu had no requirements that Baijob become profitable for the time being.
An industry source claims that another senior Baijob executive, CTO Liu Pingchuan, has also left the company.
