Social E-Commerce Website Buykee Launches

Chinese social shopping experience sharing site Buykee (www.buykee) launched recently. The site targets high-end e-commerce customers and their social relationships.
Buykee, which existed as an IT and 3C forum before shutting down in 2007, has completed its transition to social shopping experience sharing community. The new site features aspects of Pinterest's "picture wall" design, as well as a Facebook- and Path-like Timeline feature displaying users' status updates next to unique per-update images. Before users can register, Buykee.com will conduct a "shopping DNA" test to select the most appropriate interests and styles to display to users.
Buykee.com already supports shopping experience sharing from several hundred websites, including China's leading B2C e-commerce sites, official brand websites, and Hangzhou-based C2C & B2C e-commerce site Taobao, and has developed partnerships with B2Cs and brand e-commerce sites.
