Anquanbao Launches 'Repair Key' Website Security Feature

Xingyun Rongchuang (Anquanbao.com), a Beijing-based cloud security solutions developer and subsidiary of Beijing-based incubator Innovation Works, today announced the launch of its "repair key" function for website security loopholes. Anquanbao will offer 10,000 free trials of the feature to newly registered users, giving them 12 complimentary uses of the "repair key" each; after the first 12 uses it will charge for use.
Anquanbao CEO Ma Jie disclosed that a recent monitoring survey conducted by the company's research arm revealed that 90% of domestic websites in China are subject to security vulnerabilities; data released by China's National Computer Network Emergency Response Center (CNCERT) showed that in 2011, 61.7% of all domestic websites experienced security issues. At the end of last year Anquanbao launched its free security solution, which is already in use by 6,000 webmasters.
At the press conference, Anquanbao's director of sales and marketing Zhang Feng reported that the company is presently in the midst of a Series B round of funding coming primarily from VC's. The company's A round of funding came from Innovation Works, and was under USD 5 mln. Anquanbao officially launched in October of last year; its main product is cloud security for website servers.
