Intel, Suning Open Ultrabook Experience Zone

On March 3, Intel and Chinese consumer electronics and home appliances retailer Suning (002024.SZ) held a joint press conference to announce the opening of the new Intel-Suning Ultrabook Experience Zone at the Liujiayao Suning store in Beijing. The new store section aims to promote ultrabook products.
Intel and Suning also announced their plans for strategic cooperation. By May 1 of this year, Intel and Suning will open a total of 30 Ultrabook Experience Store areas at Suning outlets in major cities around China, and will set up 150 Ultrabook Experience Zones at Suning flagship stores. Seven computer makers - Taiwanese electronics makers BenQ (2352.TW) and Asus (LSE: ASKD; 2357.TW), Chinese laptop and PC manufacturers Lenovo (0992.HK) and Haier, and Samsung, Toshiba, and HP - have released ultrabook products on the Chinese market, all of which are featured in the new Intel Ultrabook Experience Store.
Suning accounts for 8% of sales in China's PC market. The company has more than 1,700 outlets around the country, and sells computers at 1,600 of them.
