Netease to Close Online Luxury Mall

Chinese Internet firm Netease (Nasdaq: NTES) has announced that as of January 1, 2012, its subsidiary luxury goods B2C e-commerce site L.163.com will cease operations and the L.163.com domain name will discontinue service.

Netease stated that after-sales services will continue to be offered on all products sold on L.163.com, and products can be returned up until January 15, 2012.
