Microsoft to Build Cloud Platform, Training Center in Chongqing

Microsoft recently signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding, an enterprise cloud computing project contract, and a software outsourcing training base cooperation agreement with the Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone (CETDZ). Microsoft will jointly develop a cloud computing services platform and establish a software services training and certification center in the CETDZ.

Microsoft will provide 20-30 technical personnel and expects the platform to be constructed by June 2012. According to the agreement, the center will train and certify at least 5,000 software outsourcing professionals within the next four years.
